PRODUCTS

At London Underground, we bring together a curated range of innovative, sustainable technologies designed to address critical environmental and operational challenges across industries.

Our product portfolio spans coastal fortification solutions like Elastocoast®, which protects shorelines from erosion; food waste analytics platforms like DIRECT, enabling measurable reductions in loss and waste; and waste dehydration systems such as enrich360®, which transform food scraps into nutrient-rich fertiliser. We also offer eco-friendly dust suppression technologies from Global Dust Shield, modular water storage systems like the Pak Flat Tank and Pak Flat Container, and space‑efficient rainwater capture solutions like the Thirdspace Waterwall. Each product is selected to empower businesses and communities to embrace circular economy principles, reduce environmental impact, and enhance long-term resilience.

Airlite®

Airlite is a breakthrough air purification technology that functions as more than just paint - it’s a multi-technology coating powered by photocatalysis. Using doped titanium dioxide (TiO₂), Airlite transforms light (including UVA and visible light) into reactive oxygen species that neutralise harmful airborne pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides, VOCs, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter. These pollutants are broken down into harmless salts, CO₂, and water.

Certified by Cradle to Cradle Gold, Green Seal, LEED, BREEAM, and WELL Building Standard, and recognised by the United Nations, this paint is suitable for interior and exterior use on a wide range of surfaces.

Waste dehydration system: enrich360®

enrich360® waste dehydrators convert food scraps into nutrient‑rich organic fertiliser and potable water through an 8–10 hour dehydration and sterilisation process. Reducing waste volume by up to 93%, these systems eliminate odours, lower disposal costs, and prevent methane emissions from landfill decomposition.

Intelligent Multi-Sensors: Attentis®

Attentis’ intelligent multi-sensors provide real-time, 24-hour monitoring across environmental and operational conditions. Constructed in networks, Attentis® devices are compact and self-powered, delivering fine-scale, live, real-time measurement of weather conditions, air quality (PM1, PM2.5, PM10, and various gases), thermal and visual imagery, noise, vibration, ground and structural movement and  river heights - all supported by AI/ML for predictive analysis and early detection. Built with fire-, shock-, and UV-resistant polymers, they operate in extreme environments from -40°C to 400°C and transmit live data via multiple communication methods (cellular, satellite, Wi-Fi, NB‑IoT).

Dust‑suppression technology

Global Dust Shield produces eco‑friendly dust control solutions including SandShield™, CoalShield™, and SaltShield™. These biodegradable treatments harden and stabilise surfaces like sand, coal, and salt, reducing wind‑borne dust and erosion.

Sustainable Packaging: EcoSouLife

EcoSouLife delivers a range of plant-based, biodegradable, and compostable alternatives to single-use plastics for food service, household, and medical applications. The collection includes bamboo and wheat‑straw plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery, bio-coated paper party cups, cornstarch-based trays and clamshells, and pulp‑moulded medical products like bedpan liners and wash bowls.

Coastal fortification: Elastocoast®

Elastocoast® is an innovative polyurethane binder system designed to protect coastlines and riverbanks from changes in wave and current conditions caused by sea level rise and storm surges. Combining a two-component polymer matrix with mineral aggregates, it forms an open‑pored, interlocking structure that absorbs and dissipates wave energy, reducing erosion and surface pressure.

DIRECT

DIRECT is a cloud-based analytics platform developed to measure and reduce food loss and waste (FLW) across supply chains. It maps material flows, calculates the “true cost of waste” (ingredients, labour, packaging, overhead), and identifies loss hotspots, enabling businesses to improve efficiency and uncover value from diverted materials.

Beyond air purification, Airlite provides strong antibacterial and anti-mould protection, eliminating up to 99.9998% of bacteria and demonstrating a 90% reduction in SARS-CoV-2 within 15 minutes. It is also self-cleaning, water-attracting, and prevents dirt adhesion while reducing surface temperatures by 10–15°C to improve energy efficiency. Airlite is eco‑friendly, with extremely low VOC content, no formaldehyde, and is made using natural minerals and renewable energy.

Applications span mining, agriculture, and land rehabilitation, improving air quality and reducing environmental impact. SandShield™, for example, creates a water‑permeable crust that supports seed germination and withstands wind speeds exceeding 110 km/h, while CoalShield™ prevents coal particulates becoming airborne throughout mining and transport.

These sensor networks are designed for industries requiring fast, actionable insights, from public safety and critical infrastructure to agriculture and environmental management.

These products break down naturally, are safe for hot and cold use, and comply with global compostability and food-safety standards. By utilising renewable agricultural by-products and avoiding harmful chemicals, this range supports circular economy principles and reduces reliance on petroleum-based plastics.

Suitable for use with basalt, granite, limestone, or recycled aggregates, Elastocoast® enhances resilience while supporting ecological restoration - quickly attracting marine life to reinforced areas. It is widely applied in revetments, breakwaters, and submerged barriers, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional hard coastal defences.

Aligned with the FLW Standard and ISO 14051, DIRECT provides comprehensive reporting and benchmarking tools to meet ESG and compliance objectives. The platform integrates with life cycle assessment (LCA) services to deliver cradle-to-grave impact data on packaging and production.
